I have spent over 25 years working as a professional hair and makeup artist across broadcast television, commercial work, bridal and education. I currently work as a Lead Makeup Artist within BBC television.

Alongside that, I founded LJM Hair Extensions and specialise in alternative hair — extensions, wigs, toppers and hairpieces — including work with clients experiencing hair loss.

My Approach to Skincare & Makeup

Good preparation. Individual choices.

Understanding skin and preparing it well is an important part of my makeup teaching. We explore how skincare, product choice and application work together, with attention to each person’s needs, preferences and confidence.

Alongside my professional work, I’m an independent Tropic Ambassador. Its vegan and cruelty-free approach aligns with my personal values, and I enjoy sharing the range with anyone who is interested.
