Why learn with Laura?
I bring more than 25 years of professional hair and makeup experience across television, bridal and commercial work to my teaching. As a BBC Lead Makeup Artist and educator, I understand how preparation, product choices and equipment care contribute to a dependable working routine.
My approach combines clear explanations with hands-on practice and individual feedback. We will build your understanding of how the equipment works, help you recognise what needs adjusting and give you foundations to develop beyond the workshop.
Connect equipment knowledge with guided exercises and application, building skills you can continue practising.
Ask questions about control, technique and equipment handling, with support to understand what to adjust.
Develop habits around preparation, hygiene and maintenance alongside your creative and application skills.
