Why learn with Laura?

Professional makeup experience. A fellow ambassador’s perspective.

I bring more than 25 years of professional hair and makeup experience across television, bridal and commercial work to my teaching, alongside my own experience as an independent Tropic Ambassador.

I understand that knowing a product and feeling confident applying it for someone else are different skills. We will connect product choices with practical technique, clear explanations and thoughtful customer care.

You will have time to practise, ask questions and receive individual feedback, helping you develop a welcoming, professional approach to your consultations and events.

Technique with understanding

Connect application skills with the reasons behind your product and colour choices.

Personal guidance

Practise with feedback from Laura, with space for questions about the techniques you find less familiar.

Customer care at the centre

Develop a respectful approach built around listening, clear explanations and individual preferences.

My Approach to Skincare & Makeup

Good preparation. Individual choices.

Understanding skin and preparing it well is an important part of my makeup teaching. We explore how skincare, product choice and application work together, with attention to each person’s needs, preferences and confidence.

Alongside my professional work, I’m an independent Tropic Ambassador. Its vegan and cruelty-free approach aligns with my personal values, and I enjoy sharing the range with anyone who is interested.

Exploring Tropic is entirely optional. You do not need to purchase Tropic products to attend a course—the focus is on practical skills and understanding what works for you.

Interested in the products I use? You’re welcome to explore my Tropic shop separately—there’s no obligation to purchase anything as part of your course.
